Tivoli Gardens for kids

Yes, Tivoli offers experiences for children of all ages. Families can enjoy everything from fun rides and playgrounds to theatre and music in the Gardens. Many experiences are included in the entrance ticket, and there are both exciting Rasmus Klump performances and cozy activities for the little ones. There are several family-friendly dining options in the Gardens, with menus ranging from classic favourites to dishes that appeal to both children and adults.

It might be a good idea to put a wristband on your little ones, so you can quickly be reunited if you get separated. In the event of this happening, our staff will of course assist in finding your child.

The wristband can be purchased at the Service Center for 25 DKK and is reusable.

It is possible to rent strollers and pull wagons in Tivoli, but prams are not available for rent.

Strollers and pull wagons can be rented at the Service Center. Price: 50 DKK. A deposit of 100 DKK plus valid ID is required, which will be returned along with the deposit at the end of the rental period. Alternatively, a deposit of 500 DKK can be provided.

You will receive a token to insert into the lock (similar to a shopping cart) for the stroller or pull wagon.

You can find our well-equipped baby changing house by "Rasmus Klump's World" (the playground). The baby changing house is a quiet oasis where you’ll have everything you need for your child. You can warm a bottle or baby food in the microwave, mom can nurse in the comfy chairs, and there are, of course, excellent changing facilities as well.

Additionally, we have baby changing rooms at the following locations:

• By the Central Station Entrance – Ladies’ and Gents’ Toilets (including a toilet for children in the ladies’)
• By the Pantomime Theatre – Ladies’ and Gents’ Toilets (including a toilet for children in the gents’)
• By the Jubilee Garden – Ladies’ and Gents’ Toilets
• Under Fatamorgana – Ladies’ and Gents’ Toilets
• Between the Galley Ships and Vaffelbageriet – Accessible Toilet
• By Viften – Accessible Toilet
• By The Flying Trunk – Ladies’ and Gents’ Toilets
• In the Tivoli Food Hall – Accessible Toilet

Cloakroom and luggage lockers are available at the main entrance to Tivoli Gardens, the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum exit, and under The Demon coaster. Jumbo lockers cost 70 DKK to rent, while large lockers cost 50 DKK.

Ride pass prices are dynamic and you can find the lowest available price in the webshop. Children aged 1–7 get ride passes for half the price!

Yes. If you have a valid admission ticket or a Tivoli Pass, you may leave Tivoli Gardens via the exit at Tivoli Food Hall and receive a re-entry stamp, allowing you to return later the same day in accordance with the applicable entrance rules. Many guests choose to visit Tivoli Food Hall or explore Copenhagen before returning to Tivoli Gardens for more experiences later in the day.

It is allowed to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages in Tivoli. It can be enjoyed on the Open Air Stage lawn, the garden areas along HC Andersens Boulevard and on our benches.
