    Tivoli Pass

With a Tivoli Pass, you get free entry to all of Tivoli's seasons. There are several types of Tivoli Passes, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your needs. Read more about the Tivoli Pass and find answers to your questions below.

A Tivoli Pass grants you free entry to Tivoli Gardens during the summer, Halloween, and Christmas seasons. You can purchase it either as an annual subscription or a one-time pass. A Tivoli Pass is valid for 12 months from the purchase month and renews automatically unless bought as a gift.  You also have the option to set the start date one or two months ahead.

Tivoli Pass: The standard Tivoli Pass grants access to the Gardens for the pass holder only. It is strictly personal and cannot be used by others.

Tivoli Silver Pass: This allows the pass holder to bring one guest free of charge per day. This applies only when entering with the pass holder, and the guest must be a business associate, family member, colleague, or friend.

Tivoli Gold Pass: This allows the pass holder to bring up to four guests free of charge per day. This applies only when entering together with the pass holder, and the guests must be business associates, family members, colleagues, or friends of the pass holder.

Wild Card: This grants access to Tivoli Gardens and a free Ride Pass to the pass holder for each visit (maximum one per day). Ride Passes are personal and cannot be resold.

You always have the option to upgrade your Tivoli Pass to a higher category. When upgrading your Tivoli Pass, you retain the existing validity period and pay the difference to the desired Tivoli Pass type. Upgrading your Tivoli Pass can only be done in person at Tivoli Service Center.

It is not possible to downgrade a Tivoli Pass. If you have a Tivoli Pass on a subscription, the current subscription must be cancelled in accordance with the subscription terms, and then a new subscription for the desired Tivoli Pass type must be purchased.

    Subscription

A Tivoli Pass is valid for the current month of the start date plus the following 11 months.

A Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription is valid for 12 months from the month of purchase. Subscription-based Tivoli Passes can be cancelled with one month’s notice, five months after the subscription agreement begins. Once cancelled, the Tivoli Pass will not automatically renew.

If the Tivoli Pass is given as a gift, it generally expires after one year unless it was purchased as a subscription or the recipient has modified the agreement. If you want to renew your Tivoli Pass without subscription, you can do it here.

If you give a Tivoli Pass as a gift, you can choose the subscription option, which provides ongoing access to Tivoli Gardens. You can also convert an existing Tivoli Pass with an expiration date into a subscription.

A Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription can be cancelled with one month’s notice, but only after five months have passed since the start of the subscription. Once cancelled, the pass will not be renewed when it expires.

Subscriptions can only be cancelled in writing via My Tivoli or by emailing Tivoli’s Call Centre at tivolikort@tivoli.dk.

If you cancel a Tivoli Pass purchased as an annual subscription before the end of its validity, you’ll receive a refund for the remaining period after cancellation. A subscription can be cancelled with one month’s notice, but only after five months from the start of the subscription.

When cancelling an annual subscription early, the cost will be recalculated as if you had been paying monthly. The refund will be the annual subscription price minus the cost of the months the pass was active, calculated at the monthly rate. Read more about cancelling subscription here.

    Purchase

You can purchase a Tivoli Pass online via The Tivoli Shop, at the Tivoli Box Office, the Tivoli Service Centre, or at the entrances to Tivoli Gardens.

You can find all current prices here.

Your Tivoli Pass is valid from the day of purchase. However, you can choose to activate it on the 1st of the following month or even the month after that.

For example, if you purchase your Tivoli Pass on 16 April, you can choose to activate it on 16 April, 1 May, or 1 June.

You have a 14-day right to cancel a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription, provided the pass has not been used. Similarly, purchases made through our webshop can be cancelled within 14 days, in accordance with applicable law.

The Tivoli Pass is personalised after the purchase is completed.

The Tivoli Pass may only be used by the pass holder.

A Tivoli Pass is always personal.

All types of Tivoli Passes are personal and may not be used by anyone other than the pass holder.

    Completion and Adjustment

To complete your Tivoli Pass, you’ll need to create a profile on My Tivoli. This involves setting up a password and uploading a photo of yourself. You can also complete your Tivoli Pass in person at the Tivoli Service Center.

Follow the link to log in to My Tivoli.

You can upload a photo for your Tivoli Pass when completing your registration on tivoli.dk. Alternatively, visit the Tivoli Box Office or Tivoli Service Centre, where our staff can take your picture.

The photo on your Tivoli Pass helps prevent fraud and misuse, increasing security by making it more difficult for others to use your pass if it’s lost or stolen.

The Tivoli Card is purchased as a digital product, accessible through the Tivoli app, making it easy to keep on hand. The Tivoli app can be downloaded from either Google Play or the App Store and is easy to install by following the in-app instructions.

However, if you prefer a classic version of the Tivoli Card that you can carry physically, you can purchase one for an additional fee. There is no fee for issuing a physical Tivoli Card Gold.

If you lose your Tivoli Pass, please contact the Tivoli Call Centre at +45 3315 1001 or email tivolikort@tivoli.dk to have it blocked. Lost or damaged passes can be replaced for a fee.

Your Tivoli Pass subscription will renew automatically if your payment information is up to date. If you received your pass as a gift, you'll need to convert it to a subscription for automatic renewal. You can renew your Tivoi card here.

You can update your personal information and payment card details by logging into your My Tivoli account.

  • Entrance, Ride Pass and Package

When planning a visit to Tivoli Gardens, you can purchase Entrance and Ride Pass separately or as part of a combined Package. You can buy these on Tivoli.dk, in the Tivoli App, or at Tivoli Service Center by the Gardens. Tickets are date-specific and are scanned at the entrance to the Gardens. Find answers to any questions about Entrance, Ride Passes, and Package options below.

In Tivoli, you can choose a Tivoli Pass for unlimited visits throughout open seasons or purchase single-day tickets:

Entrance grants access to enjoy the Gardens but not the rides.
Ride Pass provides access to all Tivoli rides but does not include entry to the Gardens*.
Package (Entrance + Ride Pass) Includes both entry to the Gardens and unlimited access to Tivoli’s rides* at the best price.

*The Ride Pass does not grant access to Villa Vendetta and The Haunted House during Halloween at Tivoli Gardens.

Entrance, Ride Pass and Package (Entrance + Ride Pass) tickets vary in price based on the visit date and, in some cases, also based on the time of entry into Tivoli Gardens. Tivoli aims to incentivise guests to plan their visits during less busy periods.

To find the cheapest tickets, you can check the visitor calendar at Tivoli.dk or the Tivoli app where there is an overview of prices for individual opening days. Some visiting periods are cheaper than others. You save the most amount when purchasing an Package that includes Entrance Ticket + Ride Pass. The specific savings will be listed during your purchase.

You can change the date of your tickets (Entrance, Ride Pass, and Package), but you can only change the date of your Package Ticket once per purchase. Your Package Ticket is initially valid for the chosen visit date, but you can change the date on unredeemed tickets up to 14 days after the originally intended visit date. Ticket changes must be made in person at a Tivoli Gardens ticket booth on the day you wish to visit the Gardens.

As an example, if you initially purchased a Ticket for 1 April and want to change to 11 April, visit a ticket booth on 11 April to exchange and use your ticket. Please be aware that the price of the new Ticket may differ from your original purchase price and any difference for a cheaper Ticket will not be refunded.

You can also change your arrival time to Friday Rock. Is your ticket valid before 6 pm, but your plans have changed? Then you have the option to change the arrival time in one of our ticket booths at Tivoli Gardens.

Ticket changes can only be made within the same calendar year.

Unfortunately, purchased Tickets are non-refundable*. However, you can change the date of your unredeemed Package Ticket to a new date up to 14 days after the originally intended visit date. To do this, you'll need to visit a Tivoli Gardens ticket booth in person on the day you wish to use the Package Ticket.

For example, if your Package Ticket is for 1 April and you want to change the date to 11 April, visit the ticket booth on 11 April to exchange and use the Package Ticket. Please note that the price of the new Package Ticket may be higher or lower than your original purchase, and differences for cheaper Package Tickets will not be refunded.

Package Ticket changes can only be made within the same calendar year.

*Should Tivoli Gardens close admission to the Gardens due to a Friday Rock concert, your pre-purchased entry ticket will be refunded.

On Fridays with Friday Rock, you need a Tivoli Pass or a regular Entrance ticket. However, different entry prices apply to the Gardens depending on whether entry is before 18:00 or after 18:00.

Purchase your admission Tivoli Pass or tickets to the Gardens here.

If we determine that Tivoli Gardens has reached the desired number of guests during concerts, we reserve the right to close access to the Gardens to ensure the best concert experience for everyone.

Please notice that the rides will close at 22:00 on Fridays with Friday Rock events.

    Friday Rock

Friday Rock kicks off the Friday night, where guests gather for open-air concerts. Entrance to Fredagsrock is available with a Tivoli Pass or a Entrance ticket - please note that Entrance ticket prices increase after 6:00 p.m.

To ensure the best concert experience, Tivoli Gardens reserve the right to close entry to the Gardens if the desired guest capacity has been reached or for safety reasons. This may also apply even if a pre-booked admission has been made.

Find answers to questions about Friday Rock below.

On Fridays with Fredagsrock, you need a Tivoli Pass or a regular Entrance ticket. However, different entry prices apply to the Gardens depending on whether entry is before 18:00 or after 18:00.

Purchase your admission Tivoli Pass or tickets to the Gardens here.

For selected concerts, Tivoli may need to introduce seat reservations. It's free, but in addition to your Tivoli card or entrance ticket, you will also need a seat reservation, which can be made via a link. Tivoli will announce this on our platforms, when it becomes relevant in the upcoming season.

Please further note, that if we determine that Tivoli Gardens has reached the desired number of guests during concerts, we reserve the right to close access to the Gardens to ensure the best concert experience for everyone.

Would you like to join us for Friday Rock? Then remember our good advice for a great concert experience for everyone:

    • Arrive early for the concert
    • Bringing your own alcohol to the Gardens is grounds for removal
    • Have your Tivoli Pass or entrance ticket ready
    • Keep your cigarettes in your pocket when you're not in the smoking area
    • Warm up your singing voice
    • Remember a warm sweater for the cool evening hours
    • Be mindful of others and enjoy the concert together

To the front right of the stage there is a designated area for wheelchair users and their companions on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, you may not attend the concert with your wheelchair out in the spectator area during the concerts.

Special regulations apply to the following:

    Pushchairs, prams/strollers, walkers and wheelchairs
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to bring the above equipment to the Open-Air Stage area during Friday Rock events. However, a designated wheelchair area has been assigned to guests with physical impairments who either use a wheelchair or a walker.

Guests with prams/strollers are advised to find space on the sides of the concert area or around the Glass Hall Theatre, Chaplon Tea Salon or Tivoli Concert Hall.

    Umbrellas
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use umbrellas by the Open-Air Stage during the concerts. We recommend using raincoats instead.

    Camera equipment
It is not permitted to use professional or semi-professional audio, photo or video equipment during performances and concerts, including single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras with interchangeable lenses, zoom lenses and the like. Staff instructions must always be followed, even in cases of doubt.

    Erected barriers must be respected.
Please show consideration for other guests and follow the instructions of the security staff.

Tivoli Gardens is smoke-free, but our guests enjoy access to two zones where smoking is permitted. The zones are clearly marked with “smoking permitted” signs and are additionally marked on the Tivoli Gardens map and described on tivoligardens.com.

These areas do not include the Open-Air Stage concert area. Tivoli Gardens considers e-cigarettes comparable to regular cigarettes. Tivoli Gardens’ smoking policy therefore also applies to e-cigarettes.

You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages into Tivoli Gardens. However, it is not permitted to bring glass bottles/containers. Your own food and drinks can be enjoyed by the Open-Air Stage, on the lawns inside Tivoli Gardens along H. C. Andersens Boulevard and on benches in Tivoli Gardens.

    Pre-booked Admission

For selected Friday Rock- and Saturday Hits-concerts, a pre-booked admission may be required to enter the concert area. However, a reservation does not guarantee access to the concert area. This is due to safety reasons, to avoid overcrowding in the Gardens, and to ensure the best concert experience for our guests. Read more about space reservations below.

Booking for concerts requiring pre-booked access opens 9 days before each event. We recommend following tivoli.dk and Friday Rock on Instagram and Facebook for announcements.

Tivoli Gardens will publish the booking link on social media, its website, and via newsletter 9 days before each concert.
To book, you’ll need a profile on the booking site. Once logged in, follow the step-by-step process and select your arrival time.

You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your booking is complete. This confirmation must be presented at the entrance to Tivoli Gardens. Please ensure you arrive before the time stated in your confirmation.
