Tivoli Ballet School
In 2012, Tivoli Ballet School opened its doors to an inspiring and dedicated universe of dance training, offering high artistic and educational standards.
Students at Tivoli Ballet School are trained, among other things, to perform on the various stages of Tivoli Gardens, including the Pantomime Theatre. The school thus serves as a natural springboard into Tivoli Ballet Theatre, Tivoli’s very own ballet company.
Our summer schools, workshops, and courses bring together international teachers and ballet schools with Danish instructors and students. Additionally, through outreach activities like the Tivoli School Service and school visits, Tivoli Ballet School’s teachers and students share their passion and knowledge of dance and ballet.

Opportunities
With some of the best ballet teachers and instructors in Denmark, Tivoli Ballet School creates an inclusive and inspiring learning environment that focuses on each student’s individual level. As a result, we welcome a wide range of students, from those dancing recreationally to those aspiring to a professional dance career.
Our students range from 5-year-olds in our Pre-Ballet classes to those combining their ballet training with upper-secondary school education (HF), and even to our popular adult class, “Dance for Parkinson’s.”

The History of Tivoli Ballet School
Tivoli Ballet School opened in 2012, after several years of dreaming about it, and especially since the arrival of ballet to Tivoli in 1911.
Following its opening, Tivoli Ballet School experienced significant growth, and the school has since attracted ballet dancers at all levels - from beginners to the most ambitious and talented dancers.
