TERNET NINJA LIVE will be an entirely new and unique Danish musical that pushes the boundaries of what the genre can be. A sharp fusion of theatre, music, musical storytelling, action, and stand‑up comedy—naturally packed with ninja elements and action‑filled martial arts choreography.
For the first time ever, audiences will experience the Checkered Ninja at full size, alive and in the flesh, adding a raw physicality and intensity that can only truly be felt in the darkness of the theatre.
This bold new stage production delivers an adrenaline‑charged, visceral experience unlike anything seen before.
The Plot
Uncle Stewart turns up for his favourite nephew Aske’s birthday carrying a very special present: a ninja teddy bear “bought” in Thailand, stitched from bold, checkered fabric. Aske is thrilled, even though there isn’t much else in his life to celebrate. At home, Jørn and his irritating son Sune have moved in and are monopolising his mother’s attention. At school, the sweet and beautiful Jessica from eighth grade barely knows he exists. And in the playground, the cruel Glenn and his gang are always waiting in the wings.
Late that night, after a long birthday and once Aske has finally gone to bed, he makes a startling discovery: his new teddy bear can talk. It can move. And it can fight. That’s when the adventure truly begins. Perhaps a checkered ninja could help him take control of his life after all.
There’s only one catch: the cuddly ninja teddy is lethally dangerous, viciously foul‑mouthed, and completely obsessed with justice and bloody revenge.

Age recommendation
All children are different, and we recommend that parents assess individually whether the story and theme of the show is appropriate for their children. There is no access to the performance for children under 3 years of age.
Bars/Restaurants
The bars in The Concert Hall/The Glass Hall Theatre are open before the performance and during intermission. Beverages can be pre-ordered for the intermission before the performance starts.
