After-work jazz with Jan Harbeck and the Tivoli Orchestra

During Copenhagen Jazz Festival, you can enjoy top-class jazz in Tivoli Gardens. Under the baton of bandleader Peter Jensen, the Tivoli Orchestra welcomes a rotating line-up of guest soloists to the Greenhouse Stage in front of the Pantomime Theatre. 

Jan Harbeck:

Jan Harbeck is known for his warm tone and storytelling saxophone. He’s received a Danish Music Award, the Bent Jædig Prize and the Ben Webster Prize. With his quartet, he has released several critically acclaimed albums, and DownBeat Magazine described his music as “like a vintage port”. As the Danish newspaper Politiken put it: “No one pours soul into a ballad like Harbeck.” Experience a modern master deeply rooted in jazz tradition.
