Embroidery and Visible Mending with Lille Klode

Embroidery and Visible Mending with Lille Klode

Lille Klode is a creative embroidery universe founded by Natasja Hjerrild Rosenquist, who inspires people to give clothes and textiles a new lease of life through needle and thread. Through embroidery and visible mending, she demonstrates how a few simple stitches can transform well-loved, worn items into personal treasures full of character and history.

Natasja particularly enjoys interpreting nature in her embroidery, drawing inspiration from natural shapes, colours, and wildflowers. Old shirts, jackets, and tablecloths are given new life when adorned with delicate nature-inspired motifs and thoughtful craftsmanship.

She is the author of the books Lille Klode – An Introduction to Embroidery and Visible Mending (2023) and Embroider Nature – Stitch by Stitch (2025). Her third book, Renew Your Wardrobe – Extend the Life of Your Clothes, Stitch by Stitch, will be published in October 2026. In addition, Natasja hosts workshops where both beginners and experienced makers can learn the basic stitches and techniques of embroidery.
