A part of Tivoli Gardens History

The Concert Hall, which opened in 1956, is one of Copenhagen's most iconic cultural landmarks. Designed by renowned architects Hans Hansen and Frits Schlegel, the building replaced the original concert hall that was destroyed during the Schalburgtage sabotage in 1944. In 2005, Tivoli's Concert Hall underwent an extensive renovation that restored its original appearance while introducing modern facilities.

The Concert Hall is not only a venue for music and performances; it’s also a vibrant part of Tivoli's history. Over the years, the hall has hosted countless memorable concerts and performances, attracting both local and international artists.

The renovation was led by the acclaimed architectural firm Dissing+Weitling, ensuring that all upgrades honored the original architecture. One of the most notable additions was the rotunda with a café and bar, providing guests with an elegant space to enjoy a drink before or after a performance. Another highlight is the Aquarium Foyer in the basement, featuring a large saltwater aquarium filled with sharks and tropical fish, creating a unique and captivating atmosphere. The new backstage area includes a rehearsal room and a restaurant, enhancing the experience for both artists and guests with high-quality food and drink options for a complete evening out.
