Discover the Iconic Folded Vase

Three monumental vases created by floral artist Tage Andersen

A delight for lovers of flowers and art alike, the iconic Folded Vase is reimagined at an impressive scale—each standing over two metres tall—and three of these majestic creations can be discovered throughout Tivoli Gardens. Originally designed for Gunillaberg, a historic Swedish manor house transformed by Tage Andersen into a living artwork, these grand vases now grace Tivoli. Lavishly decorated with branches, flowers, and foliage, they stand as poetic tributes to the ever-changing beauty of nature.
The Folded Vase has captured hearts over the years and is now a cherished classic. Whether it adorns a royal writing desk or adds atmosphere to a cosy home, it remains a beautiful example of Tage Andersen’s singular artistic vision—where aesthetics, functionality, and storytelling converge in one exceptional creation.

About Tage Andersen
Tage Andersen is one of Denmark’s most celebrated floral artists. For more than 55 years, he has created floral art of international calibre—from opulent bouquets and decorations to stage designs, interior concepts for restaurants, and large-scale artistic installations.
In 1987, he founded The House of Tage Andersen in Copenhagen, where he continues to work across artistic disciplines including floral design, set design, garden art, and interior/exterior design. With a distinctive ability to blend nature’s raw beauty with sculptural expression, he has left a lasting imprint on the art of floristry as we know it today.
