Ensemble Felix - summertones with Felix

Ensemble Felix - Summer Sounds with Felix

Ensemble Felix
Conductor: Anne Lind

Ensemble Felix invites the audience on a journey into its core repertoire: original large-scale works reimagined for sinfonietta. This evening’s programme centres on music of a light, summery character, presenting two contrasting suites – folkloric and warmly expressive in Antonín Dvořák’s case, and by turns wistful and spirited in the music of Lars-Erik Larsson.

The programme also includes Niels W. Gade’s noble Holbergiana, from which the first movement will be performed.

Baritone Piet Larsen, a singer who frequently collaborates with the ensemble, appears during the concert with both romantic and more serious works, ranging from earlier to more recent repertoire.

The concert is conducted by Anne Lind.
