Tivoli’s Magical Christmas Animation
Mesmerising play of light
As night falls, the glistening ice before Nimb transforms into a living canvas for a mesmerising play of light, with projections and holograms unfolding across the ice and Nimb’s illuminated façade.
Surrounded by shimmering trees, a winter forest, a magical frozen lake, and glowing reindeer, you’ll be immersed in a vision of winter poetry, accompanied by a captivating sound collage.
The animation is created by artist Morten Just Hansen, known for his previous shows in Tivoli Gardens and for his mesmerising animations featured in the ballet The Snow Queen in Tivoli Concert Hall.
Tivoli’s Magical Christmas Animation can be experienced daily from 16:30 until the Gardens close.
Exceptions
On the following dates and times, the projection show at Nimb will be paused:
13 December
No projection show between 17:00–18:00 due to the Lucia parade through Tivoli.
25, 26 and 31 December
No projection show at the times listed below due to the Christmas and New Year’s fireworks:
