Island in Tivoli

For the fifth year in a row, we look forward to celebrating Icelandic culture and music.

On Iceland’s National Day, June 17, Tivoli Gardens will once again be beautifully decorated with colourful bunting – a knitting project anchored at Jónshús, where volunteers of all ages from across the Nordic countries have contributed by knitting for Tivoli.

From 11:00 AM, you can explore a range of Icelandic stalls, including Art by Austa, Bake My Day, The Icelandic Association, PHOS Licht Laboratory, Thelma Steimann and Tommi’s Burger Joint.

At the Open-Air Stage, the programme features a speech by the Icelandic Ambassador, poetry readings by Fjallkonan, a concert with the grand choir Hátíðarkórinn, and – last but not least – the legendary band Retro Stefson.

Iceland in Tivoli is organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Iceland in Copenhagen and Icelandair.
