If you have a soft spot for Danish musical heritage, it’s time to slip into your summer outfit and head for the Open-Air Stage on one of two Sundays, as Tivoli Copenhagen Phil joins forces with some of Denmark’s finest musical-theatre and operetta singers to celebrate the 75th anniversary of a true classic: Meet Me on Cassiopeia.
This is a sun-drenched tribute to Kai Normann Andersen’s immortal music. With Phillip Faber in high spirits at the helm, nostalgia is given free rein as beloved songs such as The Mouse’s Song, Go Out for a Walk and The Very Last Dance ring out across the summer-clad Tivoli Gardens.
