Simon Væver, Emma Sørensen & Jacob Taarnhøj

Jacob Taarnhøj has been performing for many years and is a major player on the Danish stand-up scene. He is a master of wordplay and surreal storytelling, making his shows an unforgettable experience. Jacob took second place at the Danish Stand-Up Championships in 2017 and the same year won the Talent Award at the ZULU Comedy Galla. He has also appeared in several TV programmes, including season 2 of Stormester, Klipfiskerne (on multiple occasions), and Stormester – En chance til on TV2. Jacob Taarnhøj’s playful use of language is especially evident in his two shows Krøllehjern’ and Standard, as well as his Comedy Special. An experienced and highly stage-savvy comedian with intelligent humor that sparks reflection.

Simon Væver, with his 13 years in the industry, is a guaranteed source of laughter every time he steps on stage. This was firmly cemented when he won the Danish Stand-Up Championships in autumn 2019. Since then, Simon has performed on the country’s major stages in various contexts, including his one-man shows IM•PO•NERENDE from 2022 and Svæver På En Lyserød Sky, which he toured around Denmark with in 2024. The latter show was even nominated for the Critics’ Prize at the UP Comedy Prize 2024. In addition, he hosted his own talk show on DR2, Det’ ik’ sjovt, Simon, which focused on taboos and how comedy can be used in relation to them. On stage, he shares his own thoughts and experiences, built up over the course of his 30-year life. Simon Væver is (according to his psychiatrist) diagnosed with “an incredible amount of ADHD,” which gives him a slightly different and quirky view of the world.
