Carsten Eskelund
Carsten Eskelund is one of the country’s most seasoned comedians and enjoys widespread recognition for his intelligent, charming, and subtly witty approach to comedy. Here, contemporary trends and current topics are skewered with surgical precision and placed into hilariously funny perspectives. Carsten Eskelund’s show Begrænset Udsyn from 2022 received overwhelmingly positive reviews from both critics and audiences. For the same show, he was awarded the Critics’ Prize at the first edition of the UP Comedy Prize in autumn 2023. Carsten Eskelund also appeared in season 8 of Stormester and is currently touring the country with the show MOD MENNESKE!.
Sofie Hagen
Sofie Hagen has firmly established herself internationally and made her mark on both the British and Danish comedy scenes. She won Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015 with her debut show Bubblewrap, and has since followed up with a series of critically acclaimed and sold-out solo shows – most recently Banglord (2024). Sofie is also an award-winning podcaster and the author of the acclaimed books Happy Fat and Will I Ever Have Sex Again?. In early 2027, Sofie will tour, including dates in Denmark, with the show I Think Some of This Is My Fault. Known for her uncompromising honesty, political awareness, and ability to balance vulnerability with razor-sharp insight, Sofie Hagen delivers stand-up that hits hard, moves emotionally, and challenges perspectives.
Mads Holm
Mads Holm made his debut on the Danish stand-up scene in 2011 and has since distinguished himself both as a strong performer and a comedy writer. In 2015, he created Det STORE Depressionsshow together with colleague Ane Høgsberg. In spring 2017, Mads premiered his first solo show, Jagten på Løkken – a show that took stock of depression and how one actually moves on in life – and in 2020 he won the Talent Award at the ZULU Comedy Galla. In addition, Mads has written for several successful TV programmes and is a firmly established part of the weekly satire podcast Schøtministeriet. With Mads, you get a comedian who is never afraid to expose himself, his life, or his curious view of the world around him.
