Rasmus Sørensen forms a new trio with Felix Moseholm and Jacob Høyer

Pianist Rasmus Sørensen and bassist Felix Moseholm have each established themselves as major talents on the Danish jazz scene. Both have spent several years in New York, performing on its renowned jazz stages. Drummer Jacob Høyer is known for his versatility across jazz and rock through work with Jakob Bro Trio and The Raveonettes. Together, the trio explores Sørensen’s original compositions, each adding their own distinct sound and character to the music.

As part of Jazzy Wednesday, Tivoli Gardens invites Danish jazz musicians to meet in new constellations created especially for the occasion. The musicians take part in a short artist‑in‑residence format, giving them room to explore new musical expressions across several concerts. 

You can enjoy the sound of jazz on Wednesdays from May to August on Tivoli Gardens’ outdoor stage, the Orangery.
