Tivoli Ballet School: Open Class

The Tivoli Ballet School takes to the iconic slanted stage of the Pantomime Theatre with our Pre-Professional students to offer a glimpse of the artistic and dedicated work they engage in every day in the rehearsal studios.

The presentation is structured as a traditional ballet class, beginning with a short barre session followed by steps and combinations performed on the floor. Audiences can look forward to impressive jumps, beautiful pirouettes, and graceful adagios.

The classes are taught by the Pre-Professional students’ regular instructors, Ask La Cour and Gitte Lindstrøm, who explain the exercises and give the audience an exclusive insight into the daily training of a young ballet dancer.
