Modern at Panto 2026

This year’s Moderne på Panto features two brand-new pieces: an excerpt from Kevin O'Day’s On Down the Road, created for Pantomimeteatret in 2025, and an entirely new piece by the promising young choreographer Antonio Russo.

Inspired by Robert Mapplethorpe's visual universe, Feather is a short work exploring the relationship between artist and muse. The work is informed by his photography and Patti Smith's reflections on their shared creative process

On Down the Road (excerpt)
On Down the Road is a dance performance by choreographer Kevin O'Day, created for The Pantomime Theatre. Combining classical ballet with contemporary dance, the work explores themes of time, human connection, and shared journeys. Through expressive movement, the performance reflects on life's passages and relationships, accompanied by a rich musical landscape that ranges from natural sounds and folk music to nostalgic melodies from the 1970s.
