On Down the Road

On Down the Road is an immersive and innovative dance performance by the acclaimed choreographer Kevin O'Day, created specifically for Pantomimeteatret at Tivoli. The production blends classical ballet with contemporary dance in a poetic journey through time, the body, and human connection, accompanied by evocative music ranging from natural sounds and folk tunes to nostalgic 1970s melodies. With a focus on the storytelling power of movement and the interplay between tradition and innovation, the work explores both personal and collective journeys—a tribute to the past and a gaze toward the future.
