The Tinderbox

In 2007 H.M. Queen Margrethe created her third ballet for the Pantomime Theatre, together with choreographer Dinna Bjørn and composer James Price. They choose Hans Christian Andersens harsh and enjoyable fairytale about the Soldier who meets a Witch, three dogs, finds the Tinderbox, falls in love with the Princess, and ends up getting both her and half the Kingdom. The ballet has since its Premiere been a favourite among the audiences in Tivoli.
