Tivoli Concert Hall

Tivoli Concert Hall is one of Denmark’s largest venues, offering exceptional acoustics and a spacious, adaptable stage. It is ideally suited for large-scale theatrical and musical productions, concerts, shows, general assemblies, and similar events.

Practical Information

  • Capacity: Varies depending on stage design and setup, with a maximum capacity of 1,663 and 6 wheelchair spaces. A seating plan must be prepared for each event. Hearing loops are available in designated areas.
  • Facilities: Artist dressing rooms and lounges are equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and a kitchenette.
  • Foyer Area: The foyer area includes a cloakroom, restrooms, and a bar. Tivoli Gardens manages all sales in this area.
  • Stage Size: The stage is approximately 170 m², 17 m wide x 10 m deep.
  • Proscenium / Stage Arch: 5.60 m high at the sides and 6.20 m high in the centre.
  • Lighting and Sound: Rental of the Tivoli Concert Hall does not include lighting or sound equipment.
  • Access to Tivoli Gardens: Vehicle access within Tivoli Gardens is restricted. Vehicles with business at Tivoli Concert Hall can access the grounds up to 30 minutes before the park opens to the public and after closing time, once all guests have departed. Access is exclusively via Køreporten, Tietgensgade 12, DK-1704 Copenhagen.

  • Glass Hall Theatre

    The Glass Hall Theatre, with its distinctive architecture and unique ambiance, is a testament to the vision of legendary Danish architect Poul Henningsen, who remodelled the venue in 1946. This fully equipped theatre, featuring a revolving stage and professional lighting, is perfectly suited for a variety of events.

    Practical Information

    • Capacity: 965 seats, including 2 wheelchair spaces. Hearing loops are available in designated areas.
    • Facilities: Artist dressing rooms and an 18 m² lounge with a kitchenette are available.
    • Foyer Area: The Glass Hall Theatre does not have a dedicated foyer area. Bars are located within the audience space, and an unattended cloakroom and restrooms are located in an adjacent room.
    • Stage Size: The stage is approx. 107 m², 12 m wide x 9 m deep.
    • Proscenium /Stage Arch: 4.3 m high.
    • Orchestra Pit: An orchestra pit is not available.
    • Lighting and Sound: Rental of the Glass Hall Theatre includes standard white lighting and sound equipment.
    • Access to Tivoli Gardens: Vehicle access within Tivoli Gardens is restricted. Vehicles with business at Tivoli Concert Hall can access the grounds up to 30 minutes before the park opens to the public and after closing time, once all guests have departed. Access is exclusively via Køreporten, Tietgensgade 12, 1704 Copenhagen V.
