Media Permit

• These terms and conditions for recordings and photography for commercial or editorial purposes apply regardless of the equipment used, including filming with a mobile phone.

• The media permission grants access to Tivoli’s rides. Prior agreement is required to photograph or record in the rides. The Tivoli staff’s instructions must always be followed.

• Recordings and photos may only be used for the purposes stated and approved above.
  • Recordings of performances in Tivoli initiated by the performing artist may be used on that artist’s own social media in connection with the promotion of the performance in Tivoli. Any other use, including major media productions, requires Tivoli’s prior written approval. Tivoli may demand the removal of material (including speech and text) that is deemed disloyal or inappropriate.
  • The applicant is responsible for complying with applicable rules for the use of recordings, e.g., rules on sponsored content and the prohibition of hidden advertising. 
• If the recordings or photography require that the applicant pays Tivoli for the use of electricity, cleaning, barriers, etc., or for Tivoli to provide staff, this must be agreed in advance. Tivoli may still require coverage of any significant unforeseen expenses arising in connection with the recordings or photography.
• The applicant undertakes to comply with Tivoli’s Garden Regulations (https://www.tivoli.dk/en/practical-information/regulations-of-tivoli-gardens) and follow all instructions from the Tivoli staff. 
• Tivoli may interrupt photography and recordings if, in Tivoli’s assessment, they cause unnecessary inconvenience to Tivoli’s guests, or if special events or other circumstances make it necessary. Tivoli is not liable for any loss incurred by the applicant in this connection, and the applicant will remain obliged to pay any agreed expenses for electricity, etc.
• The applicant guarantees and assumes full and unconditional responsibility for any damage or loss – direct or indirect – that may arise as a result of the recordings in the Gardens.
• The applicant undertakes to indemnify Tivoli against any claim, losses, liability, cost, or expense that may be raised or incurred by Tivoli in connection with the photography or recordings, including claims made by Tivoli’s guests, employees, tenants, artists, or other third parties.
• The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the photography and recordings and their use comply with applicable law, including copyright law, marketing law, and data protection legislation.
• It is not permitted to advertise your own or others’ businesses or products without prior written agreement with Tivoli.
• All use of drones, including for drone photography, requires separate permission. The photographer must obtain the necessary permits, including police permits. It is not permitted to fly over guests.
• The media permit must be presented at Tivoli’s request.
