Workshop: Felt Island

Join us for a creative workshop in needle felting led by Katrín Gauksdóttir. Together, we’ll create a three-dimensional wool map of Iceland!

Using felting needles, participants will attach wool to foam and shape it into iconic landscape elements such as mountains, fjords, lava fields, and glaciers. Whether you're completely new to felting or have tried it before, everyone is welcome to join in.

All materials will be provided on site.

Please note: Space is limited. If many guests wish to participate, we will rotate so that as many as possible get a chance to try felting.

Katrín Gauksdóttir runs the yarn shop Garnkiosken on Amager. Alongside Halla Benediktsdóttir and Frida Hjaltested, she also helped lead the project of knitting and felting banners for Tivoli.
