Curious about the famous oysters of Limfjorden but hesitant to open one? Join Jyllandsakvariet at the Tivoli Food Festival for an unforgettable tasting and learning experience!
Learn to confidently shuck oysters and discover fascinating insights into Limfjorden’s unique ecosystem and the oyster’s journey from inlet to plate.
This workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced oyster lovers looking to refine their technique.
The workshop includes:
- An introduction to Limfjorden and its culinary significance
- An overview of oyster biology and habitat
- A practical demonstration of oyster shucking techniques
- A tasting of fresh oysters, with the opportunity to experiment with flavour pairings.
The event is included in the entrance fee to Tivoli but is limited to 20 participants per session. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. The workshops start at 12:30 PM and again at 1:30 PM.
