Rødovre Concert Band / The Danish Concert Band pays tribute to Jacob Gade with one of classical music’s most seductive hits, celebrating its centenary this year. Also featured is Erik Norby’s vibrant Three Dances for Wind Orchestra – a charming Danish cornerstone of the wind orchestra repertoire.
Expect both delightful comic ballet music in the dazzling Pineapple Poll Suite and sweeping grandeur with driving rhythms in Philip Sparke’s award-winning work The Year of the Dragon.
