Founded in 2024, Junior Kammersolisterne (the Junior Chamber Soloists) is an ensemble of 15 exceptionally talented young classical musicians between the ages of 8 and 16. They made their debut at the Schubert Society’s Schubertiade Festival in September 2024. The ensemble’s members, hailing from all over Denmark, have won both national and international awards in solo and chamber music competitions.

The group was established to provide young musicians performing at the highest level with opportunities to connect across regions, build a close-knit community around chamber music, and develop their performance skills together. They inspire and motivate one another across different ages and instrument groups.

Notably, no adults perform on stage during their concerts—the musicians introduce the works themselves and collaborate in preparing the stage, creating a uniquely youthful and dynamic concert experience.

In 2025, Junior Kammersolisterne will perform four concerts at the Schubert Society concerts in Roskilde: 22 March, 17 May, and 23 August .
