The Tivoli Youth Guard Christmas Parade through Copenhagen

As part of Christmas in Tivoli, you can experience the Tivoli Youth Guard as they march through Strøget in a festive Christmas parade on Saturday, 15 November at 1:30 PM. This long-standing tradition brings Christmas spirit to the streets of Copenhagen with cheerful marches and classic holiday tunes.

The parade begins at Kongens Nytorv, continues down Strøget, across City Hall Square, and finishes at Tivoli’s Main Entrance, where the Gardens are brimming with Christmas magic.

The Tivoli Youth Guard counts around 100 members aged 9–16, who attend the Guard’s own music school on a daily basis. On weekends and for special occasions, they don their iconic red uniforms and bearskin hats to entertain guests – both inside Tivoli and in the city beyond.
