Nimb Louise, which is located at Nimb in Tivoli, is to close at the end of 2012. The gourmet restaurant will therefore serve its last diners on New Year's Eve, 31 December. It will be replaced by exclusive suites with private balconies overlooking the Gardens.
Open for the last time on 31 December is Nimb Louise, which was established in May 2012 with Allan Poulsen as executive chef.

At the same time, we see that our guests are increasingly demanding culinary experiences in more informal surroundings. We take pride in Tivoli’s gastronomic development, currently enabling us to offer many different high-quality eating experiences at many different price levels. We want to continue this trend, constantly increasing our skills and providing the restaurant experiences that our visitors demand”,”, says Lars Liebst, CEO at Tivoli.
In addition to Louise, Nimb is running three restaurants, Nimb Brasserie, Nimb Terrasse and Nimb Bar’n’Grill, as well as two bars, Nimb Vinotek and Nimb Bar, seating a total of almost 1,000 guests at a time. But Nimb is also a popular, yet small hotel with just 14 rooms, and with an occupancy rate of more than 98%, it is a natural step to look into the possibilities of expanding its accommodation capacity.
Nimb recently got a new managing director, French-Canadian Christophe Delabarre, whose international career includes experience from some of the world’s best hotels. He says,
””In my opinion, Nimb is hands down the best hotel in Copenhagen and has been voted as such several times by international design and travel magazines. And we are experiencing huge demand for rooms that we would like to be able to meet. For this reason, we have decided to convert the uniquely located premises of Restaurant Louise into exclusive suites with private balconies overlooking the Gardens. We will then focus our gastronomic energies on creating a new concept for Nimb Terrasse”."
The new suites and the new concept for Nimb Terrasse will be ready for Tivoli’s visitors in April.
