Join us for Sugar Bingo on the two Sundays of the Tivoli Food Festival! The Open-Air Stage will be filled with fun, mini-competitions, sweet music, and plenty of delicious prizes (or gift cards for such treats) hosted by Folkehuset Absalon.
We call it Sugar Bingo because everything is wonderfully sweet, including the numbers and music. You'll even hear delightful dessert anecdotes from our host.
Today's event will be hosted by the baking rulebreaker himself, Thomas Berg, who made a name for himself in "The Great Danish Bake Off" in 2023 with his whimsical approach to cakes. He famously created a toilet paper roll cake with a base of blue poppy seeds and raspberries, earning him great praise.
Folkehuset Absalon is a non-profit community venue in the Copenhagen neighbourhood of Vesterbro known for its creative energy. This will also be reflected in the Sugar Bingo format.
Participation:
The Sugar Bingo game is open to everyone. However, minors under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Employees of Tivoli A/S and Absalon are ineligible to participate. Admission to the Sugar Bingo game is free of charge once the Entrance Ticket to Tivoli Gardens has been paid.
Prizes:
Prizes are awarded every Sunday. There are three major prizes for achieving 1 row, 2 rows, and a full plate. In addition, there are secondary prizes and special awards for a select number of lucky participants.
