The Tivoli Youth Guard Band consists of woodwinds, brass instruments and percussions. The 50 members of age 10-16 play a selection of marches, ouvertures and concerts for solo instruments and orchestra - but also musical medleys and film music are part of the repertoire.
The 90 members of the Tivoli Youth Guard aged 9-16 years all attend the Tivoli Youth Guard music school. At the weekends they march in their bright red uniform jackets, white trousers and bearskin hats, entertaining visitors to the Gardens.
