Dancing Schools Day

Tivoli is once again inviting dance schools to the Gardens this year, and you can look forward to both displays and competitions.

Throughout the afternoon, the Open Air Stage will be the setting for dance displays by teams from the Danish Dance Schools and, true to tradition, the Tivoli Dancing Championships will take place on the Open Air Stage. Come along and watch the competition!

The Tivoli Dancing Championships were first held in the 1930s. After a break of a number of years, the competition was revived in 2006 – to the great delight of the many dance fans among Tivoli's visitors. In 2021, dancers will be competing in a range of disciplines from standard and latin to disco and hip hop.
