On six selected Thursdays in June, July and August, Plænen – the Open Air stage will buzz loudly with sing-alongs when Annette Heick as singing hostess invites selected soloists from the Danish starry sky to sing with you and other song-lovers.
This evening, Annette Heick invites you to a festive sing-along with Maria Montell, Bryan Rice and great Danish pop hits.
Maria Montell
You can’t mention Danish pop without mentioning Maria Montell - and you can’t say Maria Montell without mentioning her hugely successful 1997 song, DiDaDi. The song not only showcased Maria Montell’s pop sensibilities; it also proved her special ability to add a touch of jazz to Danish pop music, making Maria Montell a unique voice and performer on the Danish pop scene.
Bryan Rice
Within seconds of songs such as No Promises and Breathing, it becomes clear that Bryan Rice’s voice was made for pop music. Since his breakthrough, few people have shown as much passion for pop as Bryan Rice, which over the years has become a sought-after singer for both musicals, TV shows, theater concerts and of course on the Danish hit radio stations.
