At Halloween, many of Tivoli’s amusements and experiences are more dangerous than usual. The doors creek open to reveal Hotel Scary, in Shane’s House vampire mice frighten little children, while out in the Gardens children on board the Little Ghost Train scream their heads off. Or is it maybe the sound of the monsters on the genuine Witches’ Merry-Go-Round, conjured up directly from old, cobwebby wizard books?

There have always been carousels in Tivoli. When it opened in 1843, the very first rides were the Roller Coaster and the Railway Carousel, where visitors rode round in little wagons.
Try a fantastic journey to the bottom of the sea – a perilous expedition through water, steam and smoke, and watch out for the giant octopus!
If you are tired of the Copenhagen S-trains, would a ride in the Odin Express help? In this train you ride as high as the second floor, at express speed.
The Golden Tower for the youngest. You are lifted up, and then it is such fun as you are dropped down again.
In the Bumper Cars you can charge about having lots of fun. Try racing your best friend, and see who else you bump into.
This is the oldest running wooden roller coaster in the world. It was built in 1914 and is one of Tivoli's most popular rides. It is a ride for all ages, and you feel a really good surge of speed.
In the Spinning Top you go round and round and round. Luckily, it is really quite fun to get a bit dizzy.
Up it goes, high in the sky. This is where the fun begins.
Tivoli's first swing carousel arrived right back in 1907.
Haul yourself up in the tower, and let yourself drop down again. Show how strong you are and get to the top first.
Vertigo is the wildest and fastest ride. No doubt about it. You feel as if your body weighs five times its normal weight.
