On special occasions the Tivoli Youth Guard marches through the city of Copenhagen - this year it will take place on Tivoli's opening day, 31 March at 4 p.m., as well as on Tivoli's birthday, August 15th at 3.30 pm.
The parade starts from Kgs. Nytorv, follows the walking street 'Strøget' to end up in Tivoli passing through the main entrance.
The 90 members of the Tivoli Youth Guard aged 9-16 years all attend the Tivoli Youth Guard music school. At the weekends they march in their bright red uniform jackets, white trousers and bearskin hats, entertaining visitors to the Gardens.
