From May 1st, there will be an addition to the menu when head chef Christian Hoffmann introduces KILDEN's new seafood platter. He has loaded the platter with Norwegian lobsters, Danish lobster, oysters and other beautiful, gently caught shellfish from Danish and Nordic waters.
In connection with the Tivoli Food Festival we have put together a bubbly spring offer for all our guests: Saturday 20 May and Sunday 21 May we give you a whole bottle of champagne when you order a seafood platter for two people at DKK 600 per person.
And we won't spoil you with a bottle of random bubbles: our sommelier and restaurant manager Kristina Bengtson has selected a champagne from Robert Barbichon, one of Champagne's still relatively few organically certified producers. The domaine in the Côte des Bar sub-area has been organically certified since 2010, and today the fields are farmed biodynamically. The champagne '4 Cépages' is made with the variety’s pinot noir, meunier, chardonnay and pinot blanc, and it is a champagne with a clean, broad and full-bodied expression with the taste and aroma of yellow stone fruits, butter and brioche from the aging in oak barrels and with minimum 30 months storage.
A really nice glass of champagne, which tastes excellent on its own, but which, not least, complements the clean, mineral and slightly sweet shellfish on our plate quite formidable. Come by KILDEN and enjoy a glorious spring day with good champagne, seafood and sun in the old garden.
