Join the free workshop with Ýrúrarí
Ýr Jóhannsdóttir, or Ýrúrarí is a textile designer from Iceland working with characterizing and bringing a new life and value to second hand sweaters.
In this workshop guests of Tivoli get the opportunity to find inspiration in her work and trying out the simple technique of needle felting patchwork with Icelandic wool, bringing home a personal piece to patch up textiles in need of mending or a little makeover.
People are welcome to stop by and try out this interesting technique, suitable for anyone down to the age of 8 years old (younger children should get a help from an adult).
