An evening in celebration of Astor Piazzolla, who would have turned 100 years in 2021. He was a pioneer of modern tango and his compositions are performed worldwide. With his rhythmic whims and jazzy, avant-garde tunes, he added a whole new sound to tango, which until then had only been considered as dance music. The concert will whisk you through the entire emotional register of tango, from melancholic melodies to passionate and assertive rhythms. Piazzolla played the bandoneon, and for the evening’s concert we will have the pleasure of listening to Marcelo Mercadante from Argentina, who is one of the masters of the instrument.
Line-up: Marcelo Mercadante AR (bandoneon), Martin Buono IT / DK (guitar), Gustav Rey E / DK (vocals), Erik Danciu RO / DK (violin)
Included in the price is a glass of Ruinart champagne, salty snacks and a concert.
