Expect the Unexpected

Copenhagen was amongst of the first cities in the world to host an independent TEDx event in 2009 – and over the last 10 years, many inspiring speakers have given talks to help spread their ideas to make the world better and more welcoming and accommodating for all.
On November 9, TEDxCopenhagen hosts the 10 year anniversary event under the theme: Expect The Unexpected. Taking place in Tivoli’s spectacular Concert Hall – we will reflect on some of the greatest challenges facing humanity today, and present ideas to prepare us for an uncertain future.

Join us in November, when we explore ideas to guide us through a precarious era in human history – an era shaped by rapid and intersecting technological advancements that impact our everyday lives on an unprecedented scale.

What is TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Our event is called TEDxCopenhagen, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxCopenhagen event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
