Lisa Nilsson – Kvinnan Som Är Jag

Beloved Swedish singer and actor Lisa Nilsson has created a set that blends music, dancing, storytelling and humour in a format that has impressed Swedish critics. She now brings this show to the Glass Hall Theatre in Tivoli, where her hordes of Danish fans can experience her in a whole new way.
Lisa Nilsson will be performing Kvinnan som är jag (The Woman I am), a show based on her own story. Through music, singing and dancing, she opens up humorously to her audience about her journey from starting out until the present day. Among other things, she tackles the way she was portrayed in the 1990s as a Scandinavian diva.
The show has been a great success in Sweden, and Sweden's biggest newspaper, DN, brought this write-up: "In 'Kvinnan som är jag' Lisa Nilsson shows she has the timing of a stand-up comedian and the voice of a soul singer."
Lisa Nilsson took Nordic audiences by storm in 1992 when she released her third album, Himlen Runt Hörnet. Ever since, she has been one of the Nordic region's most popular singers, and her popularity in Denmark really took off when she sang the title track to the Danish Hella Joof film En kort, en lang (English title: Shake It All About). Over the years, Lisa Nilsson has expanded her artistic range to include acting, playing one of the leading roles in the Danish feature film, Gud Taler Ud (English title: Word of God).
