Based on their voices, Vingefang creates a repertoire spanning Nordic tones through atmospheric French ballads to Brazilian rhythms and exotic phrases in Swahili. These young musicians use a blend of violin, viola, piano, guitar, percussion, simple methods and their passion for playing to create a universe of live images from their travels and experiences. Vingefang consists of Miriam Ariana, violin, viola, vocals, percussion, and Lene Høst, vocals, guitar, piano and percussion. To mark the occasion, Vingefang is expanding its duo into a trio with the cellist Maja Freese.
