Every Tuesday in July, you can hear Trine Pallesen and Caspar Phillipson on Tivoli's big stage. Along with the Tivoli Salon Orchestra and conductor Peter Jensen, they will offer a programme of elegant evergreens for both Danish and international audiences. The songs have been specially selected by Trine and Caspar to complement the light summer evenings. You can count on hearing Charles Aznavour’s She, Irwing Berling's Puttin’ on the Ritz and other classics.
Actress and singer Trine Pallesen has featured in countless Danish films and TV series, including the Danish hit series Rejseholdet (Unit One). She won a Bodil award in 2016 for Best Supporting Actress in the Danish film Nøgle Hus Spejl (Key House Mirror). Caspar Phillipson has played leading roles on major stages around the world, most recently in Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth at Østre Gasværk Theatre. In 2016, he played John F. Kennedy in the American blockbuster film Jackie>/i>, and he was recently appearing in Ole Bornedal's biopic of John Mogensen, Så Længe Jeg Lever.
