The Lonesome Ace Stringband is a trio of world-class musicians from Canada consisting of Chris Coole, John Showman and Max Heineman. For twenty years, they have blazed a trail as some of the finest exponents of American bluegrass and Old Time, and they are widely recognised as masters of their instruments, which are the banjo, bass and violin, respectively. The Danish backing band The Sentimentals invited the Canadians to tour with them in Europe. The Sentimentals have toured with many international artists in both the USA and Europe, and the band comprises MC Hansen on guitar and Jacob Chano on drums.
