175th anniversary – celebrating in style!
American superstar soul singer Solange is coming here to perform the only show in Scandinavia and one of very few concerts in Europe this year. Last year, many fans were out of luck trying to attend the critically acclaimed concert she played at Roskilde Festival. Tickets to the Inner Circle are sold out, you can still experience the concert from a distance.

Her album A Seat At The Table from 2016 – which Solange wrote and co-produced herself – put her firmly on the map as a strong and political voice. Backed by music that is both soul and R&B, the lyrics reflect her anger at racial injustice and express her afro-American feminism, and the album is a wake-up call for both society and the music industry.
As well as being a powerfully political and personal album, it also marked her major breakthrough. Solange released her debut album Solo Star in 2002 at the age of 16. In 2008, it was followed by Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams, and in 2012 by the EP True with the smash hit Losing you. A Seat At The Table took Solange to the top of the Billboard 200 album chart in the USA for the first time, and the track Cranes in The Sky won her a Grammy for Best R&B Performance.
