Singer Julie Berthelsen has been a firm favourite with both Danish and Greenlandic audiences for a long time. Born in Denmark, she grew up in Greenland and now lives in Denmark, giving her a solid base in both countries. Her childhood home was filled with music and she sang backing vocals in her stepfather's band. Some of these songs will be on the setlist when Julie Berthelsen takes to the stage together with Tivoli's Salon Orchestra under the leadership of conductor Peter Jensen. As well as songs from Greenland, Julie Berthelsen has also covered classic Danish songs like Alberte's Lyse Nætter, TV2's Hele Verden Fra Forstanden and a medley of songs associated with Liva Weel, the legendary Danish actress and chanteuse. Expect both sing-alongs and atmospheric showstoppers.
