Half Cuban, half Danish, Emilie Espichicoque [E·SPI·CHI·KÓ-KAY] has deep roots in the Aarhus music scene and writes authentic R'n'B with a soulful base and a touch of hip-hop. You won't find backing tracks, laptops or autotune here. It's as real as real can be, and Espichicoque sings and handles the drums in a masterly fashion. Accompanying the 24-year-old musician is a seven-woman orchestra.
