The Glass Hall Theatre Gardens

The area in front of the Glass Hall Theatre has water as the principal element in the embellishment, where children balance on the edges of the large basins, and a few people sit and enjoy being with one another on the benches with a view over Plænen - the Open Air Stage.

The gardens in front of the Glass Hall Theatre, are created by combining a number of ceramic water bowls (designed by Danish artist Linn Utzon) in conjunction with a number of flower beds. As the area must accommodate many guests, the flower beds are protected by small fences. New plants are planted annually to create a link between the Glass Hall Theatre's charismatic building and the beautiful water basins.
