1. General Tivoli Pass terms and conditions
1.1. All Tivoli Passes entitle the Passholder to admission to Tivoli for Tivoli's open seasons, whenever they may be. Tivoli's open seasons, opening days and opening hours may vary and be adjusted continuously, but the Passholder is guaranteed a minimum of 200 opening days per calendar year.
1.2 A Tivoli Pass can either be purchased as a
1.2.1. subscription with annual payment, or with
1.2.2. expiry (current month + 11 months)
1.3 The following types of Tivoli Passes are available:
1.3.1. Tivoli Pass: The Tivoli Pass provides admission for the Passholder. The Pass is strictly personal and is not valid for use by anyone but the Passholder
1.3.2. Wild Card Mini: The Wild Card Mini provides admission for the Passholder personally as well as a free Unlimited Ride Ticket for the Passholder on each visit to Tivoli (max. one per day). The Unlimited Ride Mini Ticket is personal to you and must not be sold on. Any infringement of this is considered misuse of the Tivoli Pass, cf. section 1.9.
1.3.3. Tivoli Silver Pass: The Tivoli Silver Pass entitles the Passholder to bring one companion free of charge per day. This is only valid when visiting with the Passholder, and it is a condition that the companion is a business associate, family member, colleague or friend of the Passholder.
1.3.4. Wild Card: The Wild Card provides admission for the Passholder personally as well as a free Unlimited Ride Ticket for the Passholder on each visit to Tivoli (max. one per day). The Multi-ride ticket is personal to you and must not be sold on. Any infringement of this is considered misuse of the Tivoli Pass, cf. section 1.9.
1.3.5. Tivoli Gold Pass: The Tivoli Gold Pass entitles the Passholder to bring up to four companions together free of charge per day. This is only valid when visiting with the Passholder, and it is a condition that the companions are business associates, family members, colleagues or friends of the Passholder.
1.4. Tivoli Passes are purchased as digital products. Physical Tivoli Passes are available for purchase in return for a fee.
1.5. All types of Tivoli Passes are strictly personal and may only be used by the Passholder. It is the responsibility of the Passholder that the Tivoli Pass is not misused. If the Tivoli Pass is used by someone other than the Passholder, this will be regarded as misuse of the Tivoli Pass, and the Tivoli Pass will be cancelled. Misuse of a Tivoli Pass may result in legal proceedings, as Tivoli reserves the right to claim compensation for damage sustained in connection with the misuse. The Tivoli Pass will not be returned after cancellation, nor will the fee for the Tivoli Pass be refunded in full or in part.
1.6. If the Passholder has purchased a Tivoli Pass, it is the Passholder's responsibility to complete the Tivoli Pass via the link to the Passholder's My Tivoli (Mit Tivoli) profile, which is sent to the Passholder in connection with the purchase. The Passholder can also complete the Tivoli Pass in person at the Tivoli Box Office, Vesterbrogade 3, 1630 Copenhagen V. Read more about the completion procedure in sections 2.8 and 3.5.
1.7. Free admission applies only for Tivoli's open seasons, whenever they may be, on presentation of a valid Tivoli Pass. Tivoli Passholders who are unable to present their Tivoli Pass must pay the normal admission fee, which is non-refundable. Likewise, Wild Card or Wild Card Mini Passholders who have forgotten their card must pay the full price for a Unlimited Ride or Unlimited Ride Mini Ticket.
1.8. Should a Passholder lose their Tivoli Pass, contact the Tivoli Call Centre immediately on +45 33 15 10 01 or email tivolikort@tivoli.dk, after which the Tivoli Pass will be blocked. If the Tivoli Pass is used by another person without it having been blocked, this is regarded as misuse and the Pass will be cancelled. Cancelled Tivoli Passes will not be returned and no refund will be given. A lost or damaged Pass can be replaced upon payment of a fee.
1.9. Tivoli reserves the right to cancel a Tivoli Pass without notice if Tivoli deems that the Passholder has acted deceitfully or improperly in or towards Tivoli or displayed unacceptable behaviour towards other visitors, employees or equipment in Tivoli, or has not complied with the Garden's Regulations in force at any given time in Tivoli or instructions from staff in Tivoli.
1.10. Tivoli reserves the right to restrict the Passholder's access to Tivoli on certain days or at certain times, including as pre-booking admission. This will be necessary for safety reasons, for example, or when limited access to Tivoli is required due to events inside or outside Tivoli. The Passholder is not entitled to compensation or remuneration of any kind in connection with this unless restriction or closure results in Tivoli opening on fewer than 200 days in the calendar year in question.
1.11. Tivoli reserves the right to make cancellations and changes to Tivoli's published music program, which Passholders have access to at no extra cost, including Friday Rock. Cancellations or changes in the music program do not give the Passholder the right to claim monetary compensation or termination of the Tivoli Pass Agreement.
1.12. Tivoli reserves the right to reserve parts of Tivoli's concert areas for special events and concepts to which separate payment may be charged for admission.
1.13. In the event of official prohibitions or recommendations resulting in Tivoli being kept closed or access to Tivoli being restricted, e.g. due to extraordinary health-related, safety-related or similar considerations, the Passholder is not entitled to compensation or remuneration of any other kind in connection with this unless the restriction or closure results in Tivoli opening on fewer than 200 days in the calendar year in question.
1.14. All Tivoli Passes can be purchased online via Tivoli.dk or in person at the Tivoli Box Office, Tivoli Service Centre and at Tivoli's entrances.
1.15. Any questions regarding Tivoli Passes should be addressed in writing or by phone to: Tivoli Call Centre, Vesterbrogade 3, Postboks 233, DK-1630 Copenhagen V, tel. +45 33 15 10 01 and e-mail tivolikort@tivoli.dk.
2. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions
2.1. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions are taken out as ongoing subscriptions, paid in advance for one year (annual payment) at a time.
2.2 A Tivoli Pass purchased on subscription is valid for the month in which it is purchased and the 11 subsequent months. The first month is paid for in full regardless of the date of purchase.
2.3. The validity period for a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription begins immediately if the Pass is bought in person. This applies even if the Tivoli Pass is purchased in a period when Tivoli is closed. A different start date may be selected for Tivoli Passes purchased via Tivoli's digital channels.
2.4. An agreement on the purchase of a Tivoli Pass as a subscription can be entered into only by persons who are over the age of 18 and legally competent.
2.5. Tivoli Passes can be purchased at the Tivoli Box Office, on Tivoli.dk and via the Tivoli app. The purchaser will be informed of the current Membership terms and conditions, which the purchaser must accept. The Pass can be completed at the Box Office and online via Tivoli.dk.
2.6. You can purchase a Tivoli Pass on subscription for other people. The payment obligation will be linked to you as the Administrator.
2.7. Tivoli reserves the right to charge a set-up fee.
2.8. Completion
2.8.1. If the Passholder is not the same person as the Tivoli Pass Administrator (the person liable for making payment), a link will be sent to the Passholder. The link contains instructions for completing the Tivoli Pass on My Tivoli. The Administrator will receive an e-mail with a link to My Tivoli, where the remaining payment information is to be filled in.
2.8.2. The Passholder completes the Tivoli Pass by creating a profile on My Tivoli. The Passholder must, in this connection, create a password and upload a picture of the Passholder. The picture of the Passholder will be stored with a view to admission control. When the Passholder visits Tivoli, the photo is displayed on a screen visible to attendants at the entrance. The Passholder must show proof of identity on request. While use of the Tivoli Pass is not contingent upon Tivoli collecting and keeping a portrait photo of the Passholder, Passholders who do not wish to have a photo registered are always obliged to produce photographic identification at the entrance to Tivoli. The Passholder's name may be changed in person at the Box Office provided the Passholder's name is correspondingly changed in the Danish National register (Folkeregistret). The Passholder's photo can be changed if Tivoli deems that the Passholder's appearance has changed significantly. The Passholder must also register their payment details for use in ongoing payments. The Passholder may revoke permission for amounts to be charged regularly to the payment card unconditionally at any time. The Passholder's payment obligation will remain in force, however, after the Passholder has revoked their consent. Should the Passholder wish to be released from the payment obligation, the subscription must be cancelled in accordance with the conditions in section 12.
2.8.3. The physical Pass can be made electronic at a later date if the Passholder adds the Pass to Tivoli's app. The Tivoli Pass can also be printed out.
2.9. Payment
2.9.1. For Tivoli Passes purchased on subscription, payment must be made at the time of purchase for the first year in which the Tivoli Pass is valid. Payment for the following year will be due between the 22nd and 26th day of the month after the current month + 11 months. Should payment fail to go through, Tivoli will attempt to charge the card again on either the last day of the current month or the first day of the following month.
2.9.2. Payment for the first 12 months of the Tivoli Pass must be made when the Tivoli Pass is issued, regardless of whether the Pass is activated immediately or later in time, cf. the options regarding this on tivoli.dk or in the Tivoli app.
2.9.3. The subscription can be paid with a payment card, credit card or MobilePay.
2.9.4. When payment for a new period is charged, the Passholder and Administrator are notified (the latter only if the Passholder and Administrator are not the same person) via My Tivoli.
2.9.5. If the ongoing payment for the Subscription is not made at the agreed time, a reminder will be sent to the Administrator of the Tivoli Pass via the contact information supplied. A reminder fee of DKK 100 may be added in accordance with the Danish Interest Act (renteloven). The Pass will be blocked until valid payment data are received and payment has been made. The delay is considered significant if payment has not been made within 3 months of the due date, and Tivoli can then decide to cancel the Passholder's subscription agreement.
2.9.6. Current prices and fees are always posted on Tivoli's website www.tivoli.dk/priser.
2.9.7. Notification regarding price changes will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided at least 45 days before the price change comes into force. Read more about amended terms and conditions in section 2.13.
2.9.8. If the Passholder has had a valid Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription within the past 12 months, Tivoli reserves the right to charge a set-up fee if the Passholder once again wishes to purchase a Tivoli Pass.
2.10. Termination
2.10.1. Unless otherwise requested, termination applies until the end of the prepaid subscription period of 12 months. When the Subscription is cancelled, the Tivoli Pass is not renewed at the end of the prepaid period for the Pass.
2.10.2. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions may be terminated no earlier than one month's notice to the end of a month when five months have elapsed since the Subscription began; cf. also section 7.
2.10.3. Tivoli Passes purchased as subscriptions must be actively terminated and cannot be suspended.
2.10.4. A subscription may only be terminated in writing via My Tivoli or e-mail to Tivoli's Call Centre, tivolikort@tivoli.dk.
2.10.5. Failure to pay is not considered termination.
2.10.6. The Tivoli Pass Administrator may terminate the Subscription for the Passholder if payment is the responsibility of the Administrator.
2.10.7. If a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription is terminated before the prepaid period expires, the amount due after the time of termination is refunded. This is settled according to a monthly rate; cf. the table below. The amount is refunded in person at the Box Office or via written request to Tivoli's Call Centre via tivolikort@tivoli.dk. The amount will be refunded to an account number or credit card.
Applicable rates for these membership terms and conditions:
2.10.7.1. Tivoli Pass (Subscription price DKK 379): Monthly rate* for refunds DKK 40
2.10.7.2. Wild Card Mini (Subscription price DKK 499): Monthly rate* for refunds DKK 53
2.10.7.3. Tivoli Silver Pass (Subscription price DKK 729): Monthly rate* for refunds DKK 76
2.10.7.4. Wild Card (Subscription price DKK 999): Monthly rate* for refunds DKK 105
2.10.7.5. Tivoli Gold Pass (Subscription price DKK 1,349): Monthly rate* for refunds DKK 140
*Rates are set in consideration of the changing seasonal value of the Tivoli Pass, since the Tivoli Pass can only be used during Tivoli's open seasons, cf. section 29(2) of the Consumer Agreements Act.
Example: A Tivoli Pass bought for 379 kroner is cancelled after 7 months, and payment is requested for the remaining period. The payment is settled as follows: 7 months at 40 kroner totals 280 kroner. This amount is deducted from the original prepayment of 379 kroner, and so 99 kroner is paid out.
2.10.8. Tivoli reserves the right to adjust prices during the commitment period. Read more about this in section 2.13.
2.10.9. The receipt for termination will be sent by e-mail to the Tivoli Passholder and Administrator (the latter only if the Passholder and Administrator are not the same person).
2.11. Amended terms and conditions
2.11.1. Tivoli reserves the right to adjust prices during the subscription period, as well as introduce fees for special services, including pre-booking admission. Prices may change due to increases in the consumer price index for the preceding year. Prices may also be changed if this is the result of increases to Tivoli’s costs, e.g. in connection with higher costs associated with Tivoli’s operation, including costs relating to suppliers, costs relating to the accommodation of new requirements from the authorities or legislation, to accommodate rising inflation, and as a result of extensions or amendments to the subscription terms and conditions for the respective Tivoli Passes. Prices may also change in accordance with the following criteria:
2.11.1.1. Prices may be adjusted no more than once per year and by no more than 10% per year.
2.11.1.2. Changes will be announced individually
2.11.1.3. Agreements may be terminated as a result of the change.
2.11.2. Should Tivoli terminate a Tivoli Pass subscription during the binding period and the Administrator has purchased a physical Tivoli Pass, the cost of this will then be refunded.
2.11.3. Tivoli reserves the right to terminate a Tivoli Pass subscription, also during the binding period, in the event of general termination or changes to subscription types or Tivoli Pass types, or any other objective reason. Terminations will be notified no later than 45 days before the change takes effect. Prepaid Tivoli Passes will be refunded proportionately.
2.11.4. Significant changes to Tivoli's Membership terms and conditions, including price increases, will be announced via Tivoli's website, www.tivoli.dk, and via e-mail to the e-mail address provided, at least 45 days before the change comes into force.
2.12. Right of cancellation
2.12.1. Your right to cancel your purchase of a Tivoli Pass purchased as a subscription extends for 14 days. For Tivoli Passes purchased on subscription with a deferred start date, the right of cancellation applies until the start of the subscription and for a minimum of 14 days. The right of cancellation lapses if the Tivoli Pass is used, including if the Passholder uses the Tivoli Pass to gain admission to Tivoli.

3.2. A Tivoli Pass for a set period is valid for 12 months from the month chosen by the buyer for it to become valid. This applies even if the Tivoli Pass is completed at a later date, and even if Tivoli is closed during the purchase period.
3.3. A Tivoli Pass without registered payment information expires after the prepaid period of 12 months and is therefore not a subscription. The Passholder may convert or renew the Tivoli Pass so that the Tivoli Pass has the nature of an ongoing subscription.
3.4. Passes purchased for a set period and via BTB sales are valid from the set start month and the following 11 calendar months, after which they expire, unless a subscription is registered before the expiry date.
