Restaurant HERMAN is situated in the amazing NIMB building with a view of the Tivoli Gardens. The restaurant is open all year with entrance from Bernstorffsgade and from Tivoli Gardens during the Garden's opening hours.

Critics and guests have been amazed from the beginning in May 2008 - and not without reason. Restaurant HERMAN was awarded its first star in the 2009 Michelin guide.

Executive Chef Thomas Herman was brought up in southern Jutland and has remained true to his roots though he has aspired to become part of the elite of Danish chefs winning numerous prizes. Ask him about taste, and he will tell you that it is all about memories. Everything reminds us of something. It is how we grasp the world. If Herman has his way, you will make these recollections but not without detours. Do not frown at a Danish classic like Burning Love just because mashed potatoes are the main ingredient. Restaurant HERMAN is all about radical and affectionate interpretations of classic Danish dishes.
