Tivoli's Design and Plan

Tivoli was placed on the outside of the Copenhagen ramparts. After the ramparts were demolished the city grew and eventually surrounded Tivoli completely, giving it its present unique location in the heart of Copenhagen.

As the city developed, Tivoli opened more entrances giving easy access to this green oasis.

One of the attractions of Tivoli is the Chinese Pagoda from 1900, one of several exotic designs in Tivoli.
